Switched To iPhone After 10 Years of Android

If you are an Android user, and thinking of switching to IOS, then this post can be perfect for you.Because today with my experience hardcore android user of 10 years, when finally switches to IOS, what all changes take place in the negative side.So what all difficulties did I have to face, from the past 1 week of my using it.We'll be discussing these things in this post today First thing is Whatsapp transfer.Guys, Whatsapp transfer is not there and even if possible, then at least for me it did not work.I read my forums and other things, even people have created businesses, There are multiple apps paid apps,there is no a free option available for transferring your data from Android to IOS.I purchased an app named Mobitrix which failed. My data was not transferred.My money was also gone, with no refund.So this is a problemSomeone suggested an app called Dr.Fone from Wondershare for this purpose But the success ratio of that is also not 100% You give your money,but its upon luck whether it will work or not.So if you want to come from Android to IOS, then keep in mind to locally backup your Whatsapp data.You can view your data in another Android device in the future.But it will not be available on IOS Second thing here is T9 calling.If you are using Android, then you must be aware about T9 calling.Suppose, I want to type Manoj, so I will type 62665, which means Manojand then all the contacts named Manoj will be displayed on the phone. But this thing is not available on Iphone.If you want to call Manoj or some xyz person, you will have to go to contacts and then type the full name.So this thing is very irritating for me because I got very used to this.Because I know thatwhat person I have saved with what name.Instantly, T9 calling used to help a lot.Third thing here is e-sim.I had made a post regarding e-sim earlier. Watch it if you like.But the system here is that, Only 1 physical sim is available, And rest, you can use the e-sim for the secondary purpose.First of all, to convert normal physical sim to e-sim I used a Jio numberand it took 4-5 hours to complete the process, update it, and then finally working.But I found a drawback of this thing, if your phone is like you will not remove its sim for years, no need for it,for years, the same sim is in its place, then there is no problem but, if you are like me.Putting it in other phone or, switching your phone frequently, in 2-3 months, or you are testing it and need to remove it, that is not possible here.Because you will need to go to the store to convert your e-sim to physical sim again.Because your earlier physical sim becomes zero when, you activate your e-sim.So this is a big issue here.So this is the usual dispute between IOS and Android.People say that the more the cost, the better it is.There is no quality in the cheaper one.But this thing totally changes in the fashion category, which Meesho is doing in India.Thanks to Meesho, which additional to supporting our work, also collaborated for this post.On Meesho, you have no fear of quality or prices.Here you get best quality and best prices.Even talking about mens category, it starts at 199 rupees.with huge variety available.60 lakhs plus products are available in the mens category.Talking about products category, then, clothes, shoes, electronics, gadgets and much more is available, and that too at best prices.Talking about shoes,they start at 499 rupees.But the best thing is,Meesho's Maha Indian Sale is here from 4th to 6th March.Upto 80% off is available on all the products and you can get upto 30% extra off on your first order.Fear not, every thing is covered, like free delivery, cash on delivery and easy returns.Everything is going good.So if you were planning to buy shoes, gadgets or other things, Then go to Meesho and download .Link is available in the description, and enjoy the sale which is from 4th to 6th March.Lets move on to our next point, next thing I noticed is Whatsapp files.This means that when we use Whatsapp on Android, so what happens is , lets say we want to send a photo, there are two ways, one is to send the normal image, or if you want to send in higher resolution in uncompressed form, then select it as a file and then send it.This thing is not available on the Whatsapp integration of IOS as of now, If you want to send a photo, then by default, gallery is opened, that particular file format will be sent, but if you want to send as a full, uncompressed version as a file then that thing is not supported here.You will have to send the normal file, which is eventually compressed in Whatsapp.Next thing is Truecaller.We got into a habit of Truecaller on Android.I used it for the first time but came to know that, Truecaller does not work on Iphone.Earlier notification used to come about the caller, and we could decide to pick the call or not.That thing is not possible here.Meaning to say that there is not a way. I tried a lot, even went through the official blog of Truecaller, but there were mixed answers there.It is not clear about how will it work.Infact assume that it does not work.In some cases, when a call comes, at the start, like 2-2.5 seconds earlier, a notification comes that tells the name of the caller if the caller is registered on Truecaller.But like picture-in-picture mode in Android, that thing is not there.And if someone is not registered on Truecaller, the nothing comes.This is an issue here with Truecaller.Next thing is very funny, I mean, for five minutes, I tried to figure out that, how to switch off or restart it.For real, like I am using Iphone for the first time, I wanted to restart the phone.I has to google it.Normally I pressed this button and nothing happened.I thought whether there is an issue with the phone.When I finally googled it, then I came to know that here we have to press the combination of these two keys then finally the restart option comes.It was very funny for me. To think, I had to google it.What's the use of these phones.Next thing is integration with google.It is obvious that Apple would not want that if it is giving cloud storage, then its users use some other cloud storage.For this Apple has played a smart game.Tweak the integration in a bad way and the user will buy Apple's product in dismay.This is the core of Apple's business.I noticed this thing; I had not expected, but there is lot of my data on Google drive and I regularly access it.The thing here is that files will be shown, you can access them too, but you can't download them.When you see the option for download So apart from download, all other options are available.Meaning, you can take the screenshot, if you are watching a post, you cannot download it.Next thing is customization.Android provides a lot of options for customization related to icon or theme, sometimes phone.This thing is not available here.At maximum, you can change your phone or lockscreen wallpaper.You cannot change your icons.If you want so, then you will need paid apps for that.So that's the thing here, no customization is available.You'll see what you get initially, but touch works fine.Next up is call recording, it is not available in IOS.Maybe it will come in the future, but not for now, and there is no hope for that also.Basically sometimes it becomes important to record the call of certain someone.For all the right and wrong reasons.So the system here is that you can make a call, but with no call recording feature.There is a problem if you think of using a third party app for this.You can find a paid call recording app, obviously You will have to open that that and make the call using its dialer and then you would be able to record the call.If you think that the app is enabled and, automatically on dialing with the default dialer, your calls will be recorded, then that will not happen.Because in Android, even in mid-call if we press the record button, the recording starts from there.That thing is not available here.Next thing is gestures and, gestures confused me for 3-4 days, because everything has a different gesture.Swipe from right to open control center.Swipe from left to see the notifications.If you swipe anywhere from near the notch , then search box opens.I was trying to open the background apps as in Android.Many times Android has a button also.I had to actually call a friend who, was a IOS user.To ask him how to turn off background processes.Because I am addicted to it.So he told me to do it like this to open that.There is not a single button to close them altogether.You have to close them one by one So this is a hassle here.Next thing is picture in picture mode. If we normally use social media apps like, Whatsapp or Instagramthen picture in picture mode is supported. Like if we are post calling in Whatsapp, then we can browse other feature or apps in the phone But it is not possible in Iphone.Basically if you do picture in picture, then you can only use Whatsapp.But when you go outside the app, the other user will not be able to see your post.He will get to know that you have stopped using Whatsapp.So this was very useful and it is a hassle here.PIP mode was helpful at times.But this thing is not accepted here.Nothing special, but I noticed two things here.First is that it is a huge task to connect Iphone to Windows PC.First setup Itunes and then connect, otherwise forget it.Second thing is,I connected third party ear buds, not of Apple, When I disconnected them, I got a notification that, why are you not buying Airpods?Buy Airpods, they are more compatible with our phone!It brought forward a salesman the moment I disconnected them.Basically, this is my personal experience.I am neither a Iphone lover nor a Android lover here.I have just switched here and just testing out things.These are only the negative things here.A seperate post of positive things will be made later Please tell me your opinion in the comments below and, download Meesho.
